after spending hours with the original trilogy with his best friend in soul society, kamina could heartily agree that yes, they were the best thing ever.  the credits roll for indiana jones and the last crusade and he shoves the last bit of popcorn in his mouth.]

[renji picks up the empty popcorn bowl and pulls a face when he sees there's none left. at kamina's question, he shrugs.]

Because it was better than being called Junior? I dunno, the movie didn't say why.

Guess being called Junior would sorta suck. [he passes the chip bag as a substitute for delicious popcorns.]

So, what d'you think was better...Indiana Jones, or Star Wars?

That's tough. [he scratches at the scar on his stomach, an idle habit he's picked up when he's thinking hard about something.] They're both good in different ways. Star Wars's got space and Darth Vader and Leia in a bikini and all kinds of stuff. Indy's got all kinds of action all the time, but that happens in Star Wars too. Can't pick.

[renji continues to toss chips in his mouth while he's listening, enjoying the satisfying crunching sound they make as he chews them. by the time kamina finishes speaking, he's nodding in agreement.]

Indy's pretty great. And he has that cool whip. But it's hard to go past Leia in a bikini.

Mhmmm. [kamina works out the kinks in his back. movie watching is hard on the body.] Being him for a day would be pretty cool.
